I have a very old pomeranian who has a persistant substance weeping fro
from one of his eyes. Anti-biotics don't clear it. Has anyone else's dog
had this problem?

i see you posted this a long time ago but i will reply any way.

how is he now? has the vet said anything elseabout this?

my shih tzu has really really runny eyes which unfortunatly was caused as
she grew up and her face changed shape.
her tear ducts have become crushed which now means her tears fall straight
down her face.

the vet said he could operate to try to fix it but it might not work right
from the start which means she will have tears running into her stitches.
or it might work to begin with but in a few months she could be running
again.

so i chose not to operate and have her clipped right back and wash her
face alot :)

i know its not a great help but it might be something to look at.
all the best.

That's sad to hear about your shih tzu.
I find that a few drops of olive-oil leaf extract in my dog's food every
day has made a noteable difference.
